Electronics manufacturing lifecycle

One labeling platform from PCB to packaging.

MLS applies manufacturing context at every stage. The selected label and its content can vary by product, location, plant, production line, process, customer and destination.

MES-controlled printing

Validate before print.

MLS verifies manufacturing context before producing the label. Product, serial number, production location, process and status can be checked against MES before printing is permitted.

Manufacturing serialisation

Controlled by product, production scope and reset policy.

MLS generates serial numbers from configurable product-specific structures. Independent counters can be maintained by location, plant, production line or work cell, with reset rules configured by day, week, month or year.

The MLS platform

More than a designer.
A label operations platform.

MLS provides automated label printing software across the entire label lifecycle—from creating a format to resolving live plant data and producing a controlled final label.

01

MLS Label Studio

Design native label formats with text, data fields, barcodes, 2D codes, images, lines and shapes. Map live fields, preview resolved values and prepare formats for production.

  • Visual design and precision layout
  • Legacy format migration
  • Portable .mls packages
02

Production integration

Use approved master and transactional data instead of retyping values at the print station.

Capabilities

Purpose-built for the realities of the plant floor.

MLS combines a standard product core with configurable workflows and customer-specific integrations—without forcing every plant into the same operating model.

01

Design & data composition

Static and dynamic content, field mapping, prefixes, suffixes, transformations, wrapping and live sample resolution.

02

Industrial barcode support

Code 128, GS1-128, UPC-A, EAN, QR Code and Data Matrix—with human-readable controls and print-aware rendering.

03

Migration without disruption

Import existing label formats, validate the result and retain controlled coexistence while native formats are introduced.

04

Serialization & production flows

Connect serial-number generation and label selection directly to existing manufacturing operations.

05

Flexible deployment

Fit existing enterprise, manufacturing and Windows environments, including plant-specific data sources and printer setups.

06

Broad printer compatibility

Use standard Windows-compatible and industrial label printers through supported drivers or integrations, with configurable media size, orientation, resolution and device settings.

Enterprise architecture. Plant-floor practicality.

One platform, from enterprise systems to every print station.

MLS supports centralized, regional and plant-level deployment models—connecting enterprise data and label governance with the applications, operators and printers at each manufacturing location.
